Raw for the All Super Sentai Grand Poll broadcast on NHK

Video: 1440x1080p anamorphic 16/9 at 60fps.

This is due to two reasons: all footage shot for this is interlaced. And deinterlacing to 60fps is how I handle this most of the time.
The second is how they handled the series taken from 24fps masters. Some stuff got the 3:2 pulldown you’d expect, others simply duplicated every 4th frame. A 60fps encode will minimize the judder on the stuff with a proper pulldown. It would be possible to VFR the thing, but no way am I doing that for a 2-hour special when dealing with a mpeg2 broadcast stream. Doing it with a Bluray source would be a bit tempting, though.
