But the TL;DR is that it has benefits but also possibly questionable filtering and it seemed like motbob, sam, and smol generally thought CR was better while LightArrowsEXE thought RaiN was the way to go. So it's not fully cut and dry and mostly just comes down in the end to what you prefer or are willing to deal with.

@zrdb It's also the length of nearly 5 episodes or a full movie. So of course the file size is warranted. Blu-ray m2ts will hopefully be at least 20GB for this episode.

Is there a reason the song is left completely untranslated to the viewer on the dub and forced English subtitles. It's only translated on the full subs? Seems like a pretty crucial part to have subs for.

[@altrivia](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1890607#com-8) Good question. I don't know for sure why they were left undubbed, but here are a couple speculations: 1. Bang Zoom! couldn't license these songs to be dubbed (some record labels and studios are stricter than others) or just didn't bother even trying / couldn't finish it in time for the English premiere under the simuldub time crunch. A similar song licensing issue is especially common in Sentai English dubs, for example, where pretty much all the songs in their English dubs remain in Japanese. Song licensing, lyric writing, mixing and other related sound design is just tough in general, so as much as I'd love to see _every_ song performance dubbed in English dubs, that's unfortunately just not possible/realistic. 2. In a way I fail to fully comprehend, this _could_ be Bang Zoom!'s "artistic intent" to leave it in a foreign language (to everyone else's English). Being that it is in Japanese, it _would_ make sense how English Subaru not only understands the lyrics but is also able to sing along, but it would also imply that the songstress Liliana has also been isekai'd from Japan in order to speak it, which she just hasn't been. I don't know... These dubbing decision speculations aside, regarding the lack of subs for the songs in the Signs/Songs track, that would be a mess up on my part and I'm sorry. They're no OP/ED/Insert, but they _are_ songs and aren't in English, and hence _should_ be subbed for the dub, similar to how OP/ED/Inserts are. I missed this when creating the Signs/Songs sub track as Chihiro did not mark this as something that should be left for a Forced track (rightfully so, it's more like dialogue, and they'd expect it to the dubbed too). As someone who watches a lot of dubbed anime and isn't really taken aback by such a move, I didn't really mind it, but you're right, they should be there. I'll more likely than not add the subs for these in the v2 (I also need to upgrade to Chihiro's v2 subs anyway). Thanks for pointing this out.
