Dun dun dun! The actual story has appeared! Diamond are undoubtedly a Yakuza front (Maid Cafes were pretty-much all associated with them..) Their plan is a typical Mafia-esque one to semi-bankrupt AlcoholSoft with the 'loaned' (bait-and-switch actually $100,000/month Development kit) from a disastrous Console game release, buy out the desperate company, and then liquidate it -- or if the game becomes successful (strangely-coincidentally.. after the buyout--the gangs have control of publishers/advertisers too), Diamond/Yakuza have the controlling interest in the profitable company. And so the the games from Kono-chan's collection that've been disappearing haven't been because of her actions, but from companies that've been prior/future victims of Diamond. Which will eventually include AlcoholSoft, as was the case in her original timeline. Eh, just posting this here because I don't bother with cancerous animu forums.
