This is dropped. --- Video: ADN WEB 1920x1080 AVC x264 8-bit Audio: Japanese 2.0 E-AC-3 224 kb/s Subtitles 1: English ASS [GothGfsFanSquad/RaptoR] Subtitles 2: Japanese SRT [NanakoRaws] Chapters: Named Notes: Base script from GothGfsFanSquad. The subtitles had timing so bad I'm wondering if it was done by AI, some lines had 700ms of lead in and almost 3000ms of lead out at worst... Restyled and retimed the script, this time I tried to make the typesetting look a bit better and more consistent (masking, movement etc) and spent way too much time on it since I suck at TS. Split lines, added line breaks (these are still consistently inconsistent), fixed spelling and grammar errors, switched from Murican to Bri'ish English for words that were inconsistent, rewrote a few lines. Removed one random extra line at 15:34 and added a line at 18:20 that was untranslated. Switched to Amazon audio. Japanese subtitles included as they can be useful to some. There will probably still be a bunch of errors so please let me know if you notice any. Thanks for this.
The unfortunate thing about these subs is that, even if you fix up the English issues (your EP 1 release still had glaring errors but this one was considerably better), the base scripts you're working off of have several translation errors/issues. Like how every single line in the preview of EP 1 was incorrect. Actually kind of sad given there are Japanese CCs for this. I can't recommend working off Tezos's or GothGfsFanSquad's scripts if you are spending a significant amount of time fixing them up. Should really get someone who does know Japanese well enough to TLC the script beforehand.

@lae Very true, ep 1 was only a fast retime with bad typesetting, didn't even really check for spelling or other errors which is why I decided to try a bit more for the second ep but after putting in a bunch of time for such a meh end result I'm not sure what to do. Could try seeing if anyone would be interested in translating this but so far I haven't seen anyone give a single flying fuck about this series unfortunately. Sad that no western service has picked this up. The only official English subtitles are on Aniplus which apparently only streams online in South Korea and saw someone saying that to access their online streaming you need a cable TV subscription (can't verify if this is true) so we're working on sticks and stones here. Dropping this and watching something else is ofc one tempting option but I've kinda enjoyed this so far despite the subtitle issues (this is huge cope ofc).
I'm encoding stuff for GGFS, they (only two guys btw, one does basically all the stuff with TL, timing and typesetting, and the other one is TLC and general QC since his Japanese is far better than the first ones) probably dropped it or put on hold since the main guy now has less free time because of the work stuff and other things. It's our first proper eng fansub (the main guy never translated from Japanese aside from small short video before, so it's a bit of a learning project for him), so thanks for enjoying it for what it is, a rough fansub for a great show. We'll probably do more stuff in the future (some untranslated things, feel free to suggest), but it's hard to sustain fan activities when everyone in the small team are working full-time and sometimes overtime.
@timeloop Yeah, I definitely know how you feel. I haven't really been able to manage doing any fan activities myself for quite some time now. I picked this show up after finding out Akira Kosemura's involvement, but unfortunately that doesn't make me invested enough into the show to translate it myself for half a year, especially when I hardly watch anime nowadays...
unfortunate to hear that GGFS has likely dropped this. their subs were the most readable out of the two. i really hope someone else steps up to the plate or else i might have to suck it up and grab Tezu, since I want to keep up with this show
It's not much, but I'm editing Tezu's script for episode 3 (punctuation, styling, line timing) so that will be out sooner or later. Hopefully that makes it more legible. No ETA though, kind of busy with school these days
