This is NOT Evangelion: Rebirth as released in Japan on March 15th 1997.

This release is based on the international release of Evangelion: Rebirth by Manga Entertainment in 2002. This is effectively a cut-down version of “The End of Evangelion” to where Rebirth left off (for more infomation: Evageeks). The original 2002 release was in 480i letterboxed video, but is now in 1080p using Blu-Ray sources.

Video: 1080p HEVC, roughly syncs with the 2002 DVD (split at Chapter 14)
Audio: Taken from various sources and re-synced with this release
