Here comes the first episode of my restoration project for the series The Yearling. My goal is to restore all the episodes that are available in English on youtube and make them available in proper watchable video quality from the Dutch DVD release (the only DVD release of the series). Unfortunately, episode 33 is missing from the DVD release as it was not preserved well so couldn't make it to the DVD. The Dutch version is also shortened to 50 episodes (instead of 52), so I guess Episode 51 will not be possible to make as well. Still, we have 39 episodes with possible English dubbing in total so it's not so bad. I can also upload Dutch-only episodes if there's any interest, just let me know in the comments. Hope you enjoy it. :)

Thank you. I’m also interested in the Dutch-only episodes. Dutch is my native tongue.
You might already know, but there are 4 North American bootleg DVDs of the English dub with the title “Fortunate Fawn”. There’s also at least one North American (?) VHS with the title “Fortunate Fawn”.
Looking forward to episode 2, which is apparently fully digitally coloured.
EDIT: Might be worth noting that this is NOT a World Masterpiece Theater anime, which I thought it was until this day... I also wasn't aware this anime has such scarce public sources, and no Japanese DVDs. Yeah, I was aware of these bootleg English dub releases but never owned one. Not sure if they're in good quality?
誰かが日本語版の話がありませんですか。Does anyone have any episodes, or even clips, of this in Japanese?
@jaygator: Some random YouTuber made a video showing them, and the video quality is worse than expected, though might still be neat to have, and maybe the quality differs from episode to episode. Might be nice for less compressed English credited OPED video and English dub audio, though I wouldn't hold up your project over this if nobody's planning on buying them.
