This review contains spoilers for seasons 1-3, so if you haven’t watched it (And idk how you call yourself an anime fan if you haven’t seen Non Non Biyori) then please beware. Also, this review is about mainly the Non Non Biyori series in general, not just Season 3. Here we are, 7 years in the making and we arrive at the finale of the masterpiece that is Non Non Biyori. Hunter x Hunter stans are crying, Naruto tards are star struck, the One Piece fandom is fuming, Black Clover loyalist are wondering why they like such a piece of shit show, and My Hero cult members are being weird and creepy like usual as Non Non Biyori has passed them all with grace and is receiving his crown. The true king of modern day seinen will have his last bow as he is instituted in the anime hall of fame with the conclusion of the final season. I remember way back in 2013 when I first watched Non Non Biyor, the comf was insane so I thought I had to watch it. 2 years later comes Season 2 and the hype returned. I decided to finish it through Season 2, and from that moment on, I was hooked. The writing, the directing, the story, the music, the animation, it’s a beautiful combination to perfectly complement a beautiful anime. If you haven’t watched Non Non Biyor (Seriously, who the hell hasn’t watched Non Non Biyor yet) then please allow yourself to experience true peak fiction.~ Art: 9 WIT and MAPPA need no introduction in the anime scene and they are very high quality studios. The only main complaint I have is the main complaint for most people, the CGI. The Colossal Titan has always had shifty CGI and I hope MAPPA can improve the way they use theirs. Sound: 9 No complaints here, the openings are legendary and the endings to par.

This brilliant show needs no critique..it is beyond words one of the most beautiful and most fully realized anime yet. It speaks volumes about Japanese culture and the shift from country to city life. it is a look backwards to a degree but a delightful reminder that there are several equally good and valid ways to live....and It is a message being learned now in our Japan that will help revive some of the villages and towns being left behind so to speak while really they were being protected and preserved by fate. And this is NOT the end or the final part of the series anyone who has been around anime long enough will know that things can and do change...and endings are often just new beginnings. thank you SubPlease for a flawless sharing of a flawless show.
