A backup is usually supposed to be reliable. Erai has been anything but these past months, which is why SubsPlease even became as big as it is.
Without Erai screwing up on the regular, SubsPlease would have been the backup. Instead they got a big head, proclaimed they “don’t care” and held open their hands for exorbitant server fee donations shortly after. I’m amazed they’re still running at all, considering they claimed they’d have to shut down at the start of January over unpaid bills.
