TV Special 2 was remastered by AB Vidéo, but TV Special 1 was not. ![alt text](https://i.imgur.com/78iCCCt.png "The History of Trunks") ![alt text](https://i.imgur.com/1zvKdqq.png "The History of Trunks") ![alt text](https://i.imgur.com/yLBXPw4.png "The History of Trunks") ![alt text](https://i.imgur.com/VRxHCmb.png "The History of Trunks") **Comparison of the HD and SD releases** HD Remaster (TOEI) ![alt text](https://i.imgur.com/ZXTBSvJ.jpg "The History of Trunks") SD Remaster (AB Vidéo) ![alt text](https://i.imgur.com/1zvKdqq.png "The History of Trunks") Yep, the SD remaster doesn't stand a chance against the HD remaster, but it was worth sharing nonetheless.

So, for those interested do _you_ want both boxes of the DVD ISOs, or just Box 2 which has the films remastered? DVD-BOX #1 * Disc 1 - 5.17 GB * Disc 2 - 5.07 GB * Disc 3 - 5.47 GB * Disc 4 - 6.08 GB * Disc 5 - 5.07 GB DVD-BOX #2 * Disc 1 - 5.73 GB * Disc 2 - 7.36 GB * Disc 3 - 5.99 GB * Disc 4 - 6.46 GB * Disc 5 - 7.03 GB If so, I'll upload each disc individually once it's shared and then move on to the next one.
Yes please upload both Box 1 & Box 2! It would be really great to have a complete french collection of the original DBZ movies and specials. I speak french as a second language, so I can enjoy the translations as an alternative to the Funimation dub. I'm exited to watch this trunks special. I'll wait for the ISO though. I'm guessing it will be the original Japanese background music, and I assume they didn't add all that extra dialog that funimation did which ruined the feeling and intensity of the scenes. This special was particularly affected by that very badly.

Nearly all dubs around the world used the original score, only Saban and FUNimation made their own one. There was a Quebec French dub that used the Faulconer Productions score, but almost no one knows about it. They dubbed "The World of Dragon Ball Z" in Quebec French, but that's really it. I only have a DVDRip version though if someone lives in Canada then it's possible to track down the disc.
Impakt, you say “They dubbed “The World of Dragon Ball Z” in Quebec French, but that’s really it”. But then before that you also say “There was a Quebec French dub that used the Faulconer Productions score”. Does that mean they also dubbed DBZ episodes? and if yes, would you happen to know if all episodes were dubbed? It would make me laugh to see that if they use heavy quebec accents. I don’t know how I’m going to find it though. It’s Interesting you say quebec… although I speak french as they do in france. I don’t think anyone can tolerate listening to a heavy quebecoise accent if they don’t speak quebec french. So I’m not surprised not many people know about the Quebec french Dragon Ball Z dub. I definitely didn’t. Besides the heavy accent, Quebec French is different in vocabulary, but is mostly the same. I think quebec french should only be referred to as quebecoise, but within Quebec and probably all of Canada it is most of the time referred to as French.

I'll up later the first disc of box 1 and the Quebec French dub of the DBZ World Special.
I enjoy the colors on this more than on the remaster, funny...
