Title: Kimi no Na Wa. (Your Name.) (Bluray)
Video Format : x265_HEVC_10bit_MKV
Resolution : 3840 x 2160
Encoded by: EoE
**Audio**: Japanese [Surround + Stereo] - English [Surround + Stereo] (Surround E-AC-3 448Kbps, Stereo Opus 256Kbps)
**Subtitles**: [Visiccitude] English (Full) - [bonkai77] English (Signs) - [MTBB/bonkai77] English - [AnimeKaizoku] Arabic - [Retail] Danish - French - [Buchou] Greek - [toothless] Indonesian - Italian - Korean - [Malaysia Subbers Crew] Malay - Norwegian - Latin American Spanish - Swedish - Thai - Ukranian - [Nii-sama] Vietnamese - [Retail] Japanese - [Retail] English - [Retail] Chinese
Couple quick notes, the video has been tonemapped down from HDR to SDR, along with a denoiser and some light sharpening. Both Japanese audio tracks are encoded direct from the original BD, while I could only get ahold of a flac surround English track. I have therefore downmixed the English Stereo track myself. All tracks contain their own languages' songs. All original untouched audio tracks are avaliable [here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1n7-9OsIVSyZn7ChqeY_8OSronViAJOyH?usp=sharing) for those that want them. As for subs, the main three English ones were pulled from [bonkai77's](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/975649) brilliant release, and most of the rest were either found on Subscene or here on nyaa. I have tried to credit all where possible.
A full album of screenshots is avaliable [here](https://imgur.com/a/Xrnupal) (I did go a little mad). Few spoilers in there if you haven't watched the movie before.

That above release is *probably* better *if* you want only jap audio and eng subs, and also have 10 gigs spare. I haven't watched it though so I'm not sure
Thanks so much for the feedback guys <3

@Azozy5643 literally any release from a good subbing group is miles better than this.
there's nothing good about this release, you're better off just getting MTBB or Commie.
it's a horrendous sharpened and upscaled hevc encode (the show was produced in 1080p, not 4K and the UHD BDs were upscaled). there's also no point in tone-mapping HDR since the movie was produced in SDR, you should've just used one of the SDR sources, preferably the Italian BD, as it had the best video quality and it was the only one with the correct frame rate of 24 fps
your sub selection is also bad, the main track is some random dude nobody has even heard of, the MTBB subs are "modified" and that usually means nothing good, you included terrible subs from Nii-sama but didn't include decent subs by Commie.
it wouldn't really be a problem if you decided to stick with just MTBB, but if you're gonna include a lot of subs at least include the best ones (which for this movie are Commie and MTBB). i shouldn't even have to mention that you should use the original subs, and not some poor modification by another bad re-encoder (whose release you called brilliant LOL)
i really just hope your release isn't as bad as your jpeg screenshots, where you just need to zoom in to see how awful is it, because that'd mean it's even worse than i thought
>I could only get ahold of a flac surround English track. I have therefore downmixed the English Stereo track myself.
I recommend NOT doing this because the player itself can downmix for you, the result will be similar, and you're wasting space.
Also, AAC is about as performant as EC3, and takes shorter to encode so you could use that.
i see you're a complete moron who didn't realize that my MPEG2 uploads aren't encodes. they're untouched recordings from Japanese TV. they air it like that, you know
Hey @junh1024, yhe reason I decided to add a custom downmix is mostly because I've never quite liked the downmixing that most players perform. This drops the LFE channel and often leaves too much volume in background (music ect.) often drowning out the VA. Since I like that stereo downmix I didnt see much harm in the extra few megs. As for E-AC-3, you are right that it is same if not better performing than aac, however I've found > 2 channel support in AAC to be eh at best, and therefore decided to stick with E-AC-3. Only reason I didn't use opus is because opus surround support is acutal garbage, though AAC is a good point. I'll have to do some more testing with that one.
Cheers @Hifumi_I, no worries at all.
In Simple Term's can anyone explain me why does this 4k version look darker and dull in color than the standard 1080p version when I view it on my laptop?
MY pc has intel Core i5 Processor and 8GB ram but still why does your lag sooooooooooo much? the video dosen't render fast. the videos stops but the audio play. and all these happens every 1 minute. can't i enjoy a good anime peacefully?
un install are your useless video player codecs @LEGENDS_OF_ANIME
update to the latest k-lite video codecs and play everything with media player classic 64bit
Eh... Why are people in this time and age overcomplicating subtitles so much. It makes it so much more inaccessible than using a simple srt format. It will take hours to make this usable.
