Releases as of this episode are descaled to 720p, as that's the show's native or production resolution. They also now have 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. If you have issues with playback, I recommend using mpv (which is also what I QC with) or looking into fixes for the player you are using. I've also started using the NCOP/ED from box 4 to remove the Japanese lyrics but keep the credits, because I don't want them there and they're usually timed badly in addition to taking up space.
