Having to hardcode the signs subs due to them apparently being "too fancy" for Plex/my TV to display them without lagging :P
Hmm, I know several people watching this through Plex without any issues.
> Having to hardcode the signs subs due to them apparently being “too fancy” for Plex/my TV to display them without lagging :P Either your TV actually supports ASS subtitles (very unlikely) and is trying to play them, but doesn't have anywhere near the CPU power needed to render them correctly—or your Plex server isn't powerful enough to convert the video on time. Plex is definitely capable of burning these in on time with a sufficiently powerful server. You may want to look into your server's resource management, or you may need to upgrade it. This might be a show you have to watch off a PC, the subtitles here are pretty intense. or just skip the OP/ED, I guess? :X
Figured it out. I was encoding something at the time so my CPU was busy with that. My TV can play these types of subs just fine when my PC isn't encoding.
