By Allah, this isn't bad...
This actually feels like just... more episodes of Kamen Rider W but animated. Except for 2 things: 1. This has much more blood. 2. Every episode had at least 1 fully transformed fight. This took 2 full episodes just to get a transformation. I'm also wondering what happened to Shoutarou's single-sided driver that allowed him to use Joker by itself without Philip as Kamen Rider Joker. Apparently, he somehow lost that between the last time he appeared in a Kamen Rider crossover movie and now. Akiko is married, so this obviously takes place after the W-focused crossover movies (she got married in the W/OOO crossover movie). He was shown using that driver as late as Kamen Rider Taisen.
@XerBlade I wouldn't consider all crossover movies canon to a series, obviously the W/OOO is because it shows important events with weight to them, but the others are mostly fanservice that wanted to include a lot of characters. It also makes sense that they would want to get rid of the single-slot Driver since it's Kamen Rider W after all and one of the appeal is the two in one Rider, I'm curious to see if they'll at least explain how it disappeared but making it disappear was a good choice.
Every one of those movies has introduced something that appeared in the main series, where there is no other explanation for their appearance other than the movie being canon. It's also pretty common for modern movies to advance the plot, although often in a way that doesn't matter until the point in time when the movie is released on home video. There hasn’t been an outright "non-canon" movie since pre-Decade, when the multiverse was still totally separate and movies were explicitly on a separate timeline (which technically doesn't make them non-canon, just a separate canon: the Kabuto movie literally created the main Kabuto series timeline via time travel).
