Hi, I have a stupid question do you do the subs or are they ripped from Crunchyroll and such?
Since anime are more popular in recent years most anime are either simulcast or have translations dropped within 24 hours. There's not much merit to producing a fansub unless the translator in question can be more accurate than the officials or, for example, it's a situation like with Seven Deadly Sins where the show has aired in Japan months prior to its release on the internet. Netflix doesn't even bother getting it translated until it's complete and the purchases distribution rights for the season. Or if it's not a language with a big global population, but of course that's not usually a issue for English.
Well the show's living up to its name
