## Note: Due to a mistake when naming episode 75 (the old encode was not mine, but Puto's) it has the wrong extension of .MKV when it should have a .MP4 extension. If you cannot play the file, take this into consideration. Thank you and my apologies.
This batch torrent completes (unless for some reason I made another mistake while editing) my work on Pokémon Advanced Generation, and gathers all my latest encodes of the series into one place.
Early broadcast encodes were used as a source for material that could not be sourced from any other format. I used R2 (Japan) DVDs where possible, then fell back in order to R3 (Taiwan), satellite HDTV (Kids Station) and finally the originally released Japanese encodes, which in many cases I upgraded with R3 footage. Also, I restored the original structure to episodes that had been tampered with on DVD releases. This release therefore contains the *"compleat"* versions of every episode (so far as my resources permit): 25:00 per episode.
Episodes 1-104 were (as far as I am aware) produced at a constant framerate, and so I encoded as such. The rest was produced at a variable framerate, and although I have a strong preference for the MP4 format, I do not know how to create a variable framerate MP4 file, so I produced the remaining episodes in MKV format instead. I am aware of the inconsistency; frankly, I do not care.
I am aware of three points where episode counts may differ; this is why every episode carries a title in the filename.
Please note that compared to previous releases:
* 1-88 have been re-encoded. All eps now have sponsor cards and 73-74 now have their lectures reinstated.
* 148 and 161 have been renamed for consistency.
Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation - 004 - Subame ga ippai kiken ga ippai! Touka no mori de GET daze!! [v2-RAW-WinxBloom1980][E554153C].mp4 (151.9 MiB)
Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation - 005 - Zigzaguma to tanpan kozou! Haruka, hajimete no Battle!! [v2-RAW-WinxBloom1980][B6C97DC8].mp4 (147.5 MiB)
I noticed that your encodes are a bit brighter than some old encodes that I had ([comparison](https://slow.pics/c/OHsjgEtc)). Is that how the original source was or did you alter brightness?
Nah, early Advanced Generation is VFR too. VFR stats of Episode 1 is 99.59% film and 0.41% video. The overwhelming majority is 23.976 yes, but it still has 29.97fps elements in it. One of them being at the end of Opening 6 when the logo appeared with the moving sky background, which is 29.97, and probably the only VFR part dude to the low percentage of it being video. It may seem very insignificant but even just 1 scene being at a worse framerate can lead to devastating results visually, choppy footage looks terrible. This is only for Episode 1 as well mind you.
